Characteristic
Novacella is the more northerner zone of Italy. On the hills more sunned that they encircle the Abbey, from eight centuries valuable vines produces to white grapes who come produced in the wine cellar of the convent. Of property of the Abbey is also a vineyard located in the main zone of wine production of Upper Adige: podere Marklhof di Cornaiano, on the " road of the wine" , near Bolzano. The sandy and dry land and the airy climate of these hills allow to obtain optimal red wines, between which a characteristic Lake of Caldaro, a most fine Slave and a black Pinot much elegant one. A third vineyard of Novacella is found to Bolzano, around all' ancient and very small convent of S. Maria. Here, in the dry climate and much warmth of the bottom a full body dark Lagrein goes them, mature, particularly apt at aging. In our wine cellar the grapes of these three vineyards come elevated to wines, whose detached tipicity and quality it is rewarded from the fidelity of generations of friends and connoisseurs.

Grazie alla sua esperienza plurisecolare, unita alle tecnologie attuali e alla passione delle persone che collaborano in vigna e in cantina. Grazie a tutto questo che i vini sono ricchi di personalità e di carattere.
