L'Azienda Agricola Campo al Pero è una azienda giovane, essendo nata, infatti, nel 2006, sui dolci pendii di Bolgheri, ed è il risultato di un lento, ma ponderato lavoro di ricerca.Non è passato molto tempo che sono arrivati i primi apprezzamenti importanti e le soddisfazioni per alcuni riconoscimenti, come l'inserimento in prestigiose guide del settore quali la Guida dei Vini Veronelli dal 2009 , la recensione sulla rivista Cucina & Vini di marzo 2009 nella guida I Migliori Vini di Luca Maroni dal 2010 e nel Libro Guida 2000vini edita da Bibenda per l'A.I.S. dal 2012
