We are talking about one of the most historic families that have been producing wine for more than six hundred years: since, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Art of the Vinattieri. 26 generations have passed, the family has always managed this business directly with respect for traditions and for the territory. Today the company is led by Albiera Antinori, with the help of the two sisters Allegra and Alessia. The Marquis Piero Antinori is currently the Honorary President of the company. Passion, tradition and intuition are the driving qualities that have led the Marchesi Antinori to establish themselves as one of the main Italian wine producers. In addition to the estates in Tuscany and Umbria, the company has been joined by other areas dedicated to the production of quality wines both in Italy and abroad. Marchesi Antinori is synonymous with the history and tradition of Italian wine, a real pioneer in the enhancement of the Sangiovese grape, which has now become an integral part of the Italian wine culture, to whose development it has actively collaborated, year after year. The last jewel of the family is the new cellar of Bargino (we are in the Chianti area). The cellar is one of the most beautiful estates in Italy, a creation of luxury and elegance that seems to unite with the surrounding land: it took over 6 years to complete the work. The winery is part of Toscana Wine Architecture, a project that combines large cellars with the art of contemporary masters.
