The Cantina di Solopaca is one of the oldest agricultural cooperatives in Campania. With about 150 thousand hectoliters of wine produced it is at the forefront of regional production. The vineyards are located in a vast area that, starting from the municipality of Solopaca, involves 16 other neighboring municipalities, reaching a total vineyard area of about 1300 hectares. In this area the Solopaca DOC is grown, the first wine in the Sannio to have obtained the recognition of controlled origin (DOC) in 1974. The cultivated varieties are Falanghina, Aglianico, typical vines of the Sannio Benventano, but also Greco and Fiano. In recent years, traditional vines such as Coda di Volpe and Barbera have also been rediscovered.
