Cascina Fonda
Vocation, bet and passion: three fundamental aspects for Cascina Fonda. Vocation for the territory and the cultivation of grapes since 1963, the year in which Secondino Barbero created the company, taking advantage of his experience in the wine sector. A bet, thanks to the sons Massimo and Marco who, since 1988, have begun to bottle the wine produced, and focused on Moscato, arriving, in 1991, at the total pressing of the grapes. Passion, for that sweet flavor that Moscato can give, and which is enhanced by the Barbero brothers in the Moscato d'Asti and Asti Spumante versions (since 1991) to which they are added. A "sweet passion" that allows Cascina Fonda to focus above all on Moscato, a wine that comes from the hills between Mango and Neive, a symbol of a land that knows how to give a unique product. The Barbero brothers are also attentive to other types of wine and produce dolcetto, barbaresco, brachetto. The company grows and starts selling in Italy. Cascina Fonda is also present in the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and France. From 1995 to 2000 the new cellar was developed according to rules that respect the logistics of work and modernity, in reference to moscato, a young and fresh wine.
