“The greatest emotion in a winegrower’s life is to see that one has revealed the potential of an underestimated soul”. This seems to be the motto of Chateu Le Point, a wine-growing estate situated on a subsoil with a very distinctive composition, divided into gravel, river cobblestones, clay and sand. The uniqueness of the subsoil of this area has given its wine, called Pomerol, worldwide recognizable.
The property was born in the first half of the 19th century. In 2008, important redevelopment works are being carried out in order to further enhance the quality of the vineyard. Chateu Le Pointe's winegrowers' philosophy is totally focused on respect for the environment, with particular attention to the effects of climate change. For this reason, the renovation works also included the installation of a solar power electrical system and rainwater recycling plant
