The love of Tuscany led us in one of the most renowned in the world of art and the products of his land. In the middle of the next decade presents an opportunity to purchase an estate near the medieval village of Bolgheri where good wine is heritage of this area. The Villanova born that way, with a passion for good wine and the desire to achieve what has always been the dream of a lifetime: making the wine while respecting the traditions of the past. The return to the roots of our culture and the memory of the first farmers who worked this land to make wine, convinced us to call our company drawing inspiration from the Villanoviana civilization, the ancestors of the Etruscans. Respect for life and for people who love good drink laid upon us to propose a pure product obtained through traditional methods of Organic Viticulture. What had always been a dream turned into reality.
Imeneo
The mythology nature of a wine that inspires the pleasure and joy of living. Imeneo was the son of Bacchus and Venus, the god invoked, during the most important ceremonies and during the wedding procession, and bodes well for the protection of marriage. Inspired by this legend, we have created an important wine to accompany the most pleasant moments and joyful, calling Imeneo for his character so similar to the God of marriage.
