Winery Bruno Giacosa
Characteristic
The knowledge, passion and wisdom that Bruno Giacosa brings to his work as producer of fine wines is the fruit of the dedication of three generations of wine makers.'Asili' and 'Rabajà' are two of Barbaresco's most presitigious crus and, in part, share a common border. They both produce wines with well-definable characteristics, owing to differences in soil type: the former giving elegance and delicacy and the latter body and Vineyards of Nebbiolo and Dolcetto in the La Morra district, right at its top, west-facing and at 500 metres above sea-level. These are a recent acquisition and an exciting addition to the winery's compendium, just waiting to be discovered.character.

Winery
The company was founded in 1900 thanks to the grandfather Carlo. The company covers an area of 19 hectares located in the most beautiful crus of Barbaresco and Barolo. Bruno's story is simple, it speaks of native vineyards of Langa and Roero, of well-cultivated vines, of vinification in purity, of the use only of large barrels and unforgettable "Reserves", but also of wines of mediocre vintages, which by coherent choice they will not be bottled. Bruno Giacosa is an icon of Piedmontese wines and in the world of wine. His wines are different from other producers, his quality cannot be described but only to be tested. Elegant wines and precious aromas that identify the land of the Langhe and its main grape variety, NEBBIOLO.
