Our quality wines have already been thriving in this excellent location since the 16th century, on 5 hectares 500 metres above sea-level, directly on the mountainside of the Mendelgebirge range on eastward and southeastward facing slopes. There they enjoy South Tyrol’s warm, sunny days and the pleasantly cool mountain nights until into the autumn.
Thanks to this Mediterranean and Alpine climate, the cool downslope winds and the chalky and porphyritic soil, as well as the loving care of the vineyards, very special wines are created in our cellars.
CELLAR
Under the South Tyrolean sun, our locations bring forth lively, mineral and fruity white wines and elegant and expressive pinots noirs. Fermentation and storage in traditional oak barrels, and a balanced room climate in the cellar, lend the wines their unique character.
You can find out for yourself how good our South Tyrolean wines taste at our weekly tasting. Every Monday we invite you to inspect our winery with a guided tasting.
