Fabio Motta can be classified as a high school vigneron, professionally trained in Bolgheri. As a young Lombard and budding winemaker, he arrives in Castagneto Carducci to gain experience in the company of Michele Satta, one of the historical stars of the denomination. Here a love is born with Benedetta, one of Michele Satta's daughters. In 2010, driven by the desire to create something personal, he took over a first vineyard, which was followed by a further plot rich in clay and skeleton, perfect for growing Merlot, and completed the work with the Vignanova from where its white will take light. In the cellar he follows the advice of Attilio Pagli, making wine with the heart even lesser known varieties in the area such as Sangiovese, Syrah and Sauvignon. Since 2019 the cellar is under construction, which will make this romantic Bolgheri reality even more complete.
