For the young Alberto Oggero, the priority, ever since he decided to become a winemaker in his life, has always been to produce wine in the most territorial way possible by recovering old vineyards and making wine in the cellar that belonged to his grandfather Sandro. Growing up in the courtyard that today has become his home, he has seen his family do for many years what has become his passion and his work and carrying it forward with a precise philosophy, "linking" the territory to the drinkability of his wines ! In the 5 hectares of vineyards, ranging from 25 to 80 years of age, the only vines grown are the indigenous Arneis and Nebbiolo, the soils of the Roero area are of alluvial origin with a strong presence of marine sands, sands, and therefore fossils, which contribute to bring strong minerality and flavor to the wines. The family helps him carry out his project which he defines as difficult but highly stimulating and rewarding.
