Piero Pittaro, a prominent personality in the international oenological field, comes from a family of winemakers with four centuries of history behind him.
The company was founded in the 70s and 85 of the nearly 90 hectares planted with vineyards are located in the heart of the sunny Friulian plain while the rest are on the beautiful hills of Ramandolo.
The company center is located in Codroipo, in the heart of the Grave del Friuli. Here the white and red wines are produced and refined.
For the production of the Classic Method sparkling wines, a new cellar has been operating for some years, located in the immediate vicinity of the main complex.
The autochthonous Ronco Vieri line is instead produced in the Tarcento winery, in the DOC Friuli Colli Orientali area.
The Codroipo cellar, unmistakable in its architectural line, is enriched by an interesting wine museum and a precious “glass collection”.

And again the use of modern recovery sprinklers, the waste-to-energy process of pruning pruning as an energy source of heat, the use of light bottles for the still wines line, the use of Vino-Lok® glass stoppers and last but not least a very modern photovoltaic system.
