The Nervi winery was founded in 1905, thanks to Luigi Nervi who decided to buy vineyards in Gattinara to create a winery to vinify the Nebbiolo grapes, which in the area is called Spanna. The company is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, we are in Valsesia, the greenest valley in Italy, at the foot of Monte Rosa. The soils are unique, pink in color: quartz porphyry of volcanic origin, capable of declining Nebbiolo in a completely original way compared to other areas of Piedmont. Thanks to the natural amphitheater of Vigna Molsino, like a cradle exposed to the sun. We are in 2018 and Giacomo Conterno decides to buy the 27 hectares of the gattinara company to grow the DOCG and Nebbioli of Upper Piedmont.
