Our family owns about 70 hectares of vineyards in particularly suitable exposures.
The official classification of the vineyards Additional Geographical Mentions - similar to that carried out in Bordeaux in 1855 was completed in 2010 for Barolo and in 2007 for Barbaresco. Each of our vineyards in the Barolo area and in the Barbaresco area is proudly included in the list of "Additional Geographical Mentions".
The choice of having our vineyards located in different areas is not accidental, but is determined by the desire to blend and amalgamate the different characteristics of each vineyard and each area to produce wines that are representative of the style of the totality of the terroirs of each appellation rather than just that of each of them.
This was the classic way of producing Barolo, Barbaresco and other Albesi wines at the end of the 19th century and remains the philosophy of our family, today and for the future.
