Characteristic
A new interpreter of Bolgheri.
The farm company, Podere Sapaio was founded in 1999. The 40 hectares that belong to the company are divided among the municipal areas of Castagneto, Carducci and Bibbona.
THE LAND
Situated on the quaternary deposits, from rough loose sandy beds to flood deposits with draining calcareous soils.
THE WINES
Original Bordolese vines, which have gradually spread in the area over the last fifty years: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. There are also other smaller vines. The company also owns a few hectares of olive groves, with the Frantoiano, Moraiolo and Leccino varieties.
