Azienda Agricola Russo is a purely family management farm, and it is on Podere Metocchina, in a hilly place of the Municipality of Suvereto. The Azienda Russo bottles its wines only since 1998, but its roots are more distant, in a long family tradition of four generation ago.
Here you can find all that once upon a time there was in all farms, like domestic animals breeding, the family production of salted meats, cheese and bread, the farming of fruit trees, vegetables, cereals; for this we are one of few examples on the territory of auto sufficient farm.
The principal activities of Azienda Russo are the farming of olives on five hectares with about 1600 trees, the breeding of 70 milk frisona cows, the milk of which is sold to a near cheese producer, and the growing of vine, on a surface of about 12 hectares, with the relative wine production and sale.
