Trabucchi D'Illasi - Amarone Della Valpolicella Riserva Cent'Anni 2006 Ml. 750
Winery Trabucchi D’Illasi
Characteristic
Indeed, for generations the Scamperle family has dedicated itself to growing grapes, and, over the years, to gradually increasing the number of grapevines.
Today the family owns twenty cultivated hectares, situated here and there among the most renowned places of the Valpolicella Classica Doc area: Fumane Cà Carnocchio, I Progni e Cà Melchiori, Sant'Ambrogio Conca D'Oro and in San Floriano Monte Masua. The type of grapes produced are the most classical types of the zone: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta, a small quantity of Molinara, and Croatina.
The vineyard has grown slowly and carefully, always respecting the local technique which is sensitive to nature and has followed nature's rhythm to bring out the originality and characteristics of the grapes.
The enterprise, Le Salette, has never stopped developing their product, basing the essence of their life and activity, their unflagging quest, on patient research. And their goal has always been quality, a goal shared by the entire family.
In a family business you never stop working: however, there is always time for a friend who drops in for a visit. The Casa Scamperle and Le Salette have their doors always open: to excellence and to anyone who cares to pay them a visit.
It's an open heart that makes good wines. They are: the Valpolicella, the Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso I Progni, the IGT Veronese Cà Carnocchio, the Amarone and the Recioto della Valpolicella, the white Passito Cesare, the single grape variety wine Molinara and only in the best years the Pergole Vece either Amarone or Recioto.
The Scamperle family has cultivated vineyards for generations. We have twenty hectares of property, located in the best areas of Classica Valpolicella. The grapes grown are the most classical ones of the area: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara, as well as some Oseleta and Croatina. Our winegrowing culture never forces nature?s hand, but favours the rhythms of nature to exalt the characteristics and originality of the Valpolicella terrain.
