Commune of origin: Castiglione Falletto, sourced from various vineyards: Valentin, Piantà, Pernanno. Grape variety: Nebbiolo 100% Michet. First year of production: 1964. Annual production: 20.000 bottles. Vineyard area: 4 hectares. Aspect and altitude: 350 metres, facing south – southwest -southeast. Soil profile: Clayey. Training method and vine density: Vertical Guyot, at 4.500 vines per hectare. Average age of producing vineyards: The older section of the vineyard has 55-year-old vines, the younger, is 10 years old. Yield per hectare: 60 quintals.

Scent: The nose, heady and generous, releases complex varietal aromas, with pungent notes of autumn leaves and spice well in evidence, complemented by nuances of tanned leather, liquored dried plum, black liquorice, and cocoa powder.
Aroma: Boisé, Burnt, Floral, Fruity, Spicy, balsamic
Taste: The palate develops impressive fruit, bolstered by a solid charge of tannins that will become supple with bottle ageing. A lively acidity drives a lengthy finish well laced with savoury, succulent fruit.
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C.
