Caprili
The Caprili company was founded in 1965 thanks to Alfo Bartolommei. The company extends in the enchanting landscape of Montalcino on an area of 58 hectares, at an altitude ranging between 220 and 350 meters above sea level, in the south-west of the territory in the Municipality of Montalcino, on the slope of the hill that slopes down towards the rivers Orcia and Ombrone. The vineyard area is 18 hectares of which 16 are cultivated with Sangiovese Grosso from which Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G. is produced. and Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C., 1.3 hectares are planted with Trebbiano Malvasia and Vermentino and produce the white Settimia, 0.7 hectares are planted with Moscadello and produce the homonymous wine: Moscadello di Montalcino D.O.C. The company also has 4 hectares of olive groves, from which we obtain the production of an excellent Extra-Virgin Olive Oil which boasts the Terre di Siena Protected Designation of Origin.
