It was the sixties and the corn plants became vines, red and white grapes. The intuition of a great Franciacorta was only in its infancy, but the desire to find a whole year of hard work in the glass made the Cavalleri family impatient. The Cavalleri family boasts entire generations of winemakers who have allowed it to accumulate a wealth of knowledge that has gradually become true knowledge. "Wine is born in the vineyard" grandfather Angelo loved to repeat and with this "saying" today Luigi Cavalleri and his children follow the company with such passion. Located in the heart of Franciacorta, the vineyards extend over an area of about 20 hectares located in the municipalities of Adro, Corte Franca and Provaglio d'Iseo. The soils, of morainic origin, have a sandy texture with a medium texture and consequent low water retention which, combined with the average fertility, represents an optimal condition for the cultivation of the vine.
