Vicari

The Vicars are a historic family from the town of Morro d’Alba; a document dated 1720 already testifies to the presence of the “Vicario” family so called under the papal state. The winemaking tradition of the family of sharecropping origin has always been known in the town and today, the farm is a small familyrun business. The Vicars were those of the "good well" because within the district there was, and still exists, a large well of drinking water to which all the inhabitants of the village could and can access to draw water.
All the labels of the wines produced by the company therefore carry the wording "of the good well" so as not to forget this fascinating history of this corner of the Marche. There is extreme attention to the production of each individual wine, from the management of the vineyard, to the transformation of the grapes in the cellar, to the refinement in the bottle before placing them on the market.
