The company covers 7 hectares of property, of which 5 are planted with vineyards. They are divided between Baiano, Montemarano 600 asl. and contrada Valle. The winery was born in Castelfranci, province of Avellino, located in one of the most beautiful areas for the production of Taurasi. The story of Michele Perillo can be a metaphor for what happened in the South when in Italy the peasant culture was relegated to the Indian reservations. Established since time immemorial in Castelfranci (Perillo here is like saying Esposito in Naples), the family has always been dedicated to the cultivation of the land. Surely, from memory, up to the great grandfather. Thanks to grandfather Michele for planting the first vines in Baiano and around the house. The first harvest is bottled in 1999 after producing bulk grapes and grapes for the local market and the beginning of a more difficult but unavoidable story.
