Characteristic
The Baj-Macario family are the owners of the estate Castello del Trebbio, which has a surface area of 350 hectares. It is situated in the Chianti Colli Fiorentini and Chianti Rufina areas, only a few kilometers from Florence (15 km). About 54 hectares of this area are dedicated to wine production (vineyards). Castello del Trebbio is famous for its wine, olive oil and saffron production. Further more, you can visit the wine cellars at the castle, as well as taste the wines. We organize, for groups and individuals, wine tours and now, new this year (2010), olive oil tours and saffron tasting during the time of harvest.
