Cabernet Sauvignon is undoubtedly the international grape variety that more than any other has found a second home in Maremma. Its shoots, so fragile when blooming, quickly become resistant and tenacious, just like the people of these places. And just like our people, Cabernet Sauvignon is generous in its production of small bunches with a thick skin full of silky and lively tannins. The bunches ripen slowly, hidden by the leaves, while waiting patiently for autumn to begin. Solo Cabernet offers balsamic hints of eucalyptus and basil, then blackberry, marasca cherry, ripe and sweet fruit, followed by a spicy and complex finish. Pulpy, it slips between the teeth, leaving the mouth tempted to chew it.
