L'azienda Caprili nasce nel 1965 grazie a Alfo Bartolommei. L'azienda, si estende nell'incantevole paesaggio di Montalcino su una superficie 58 ettari, ad un altitudine che varia tra i 220 ai 350 metri s.l.m, a sud-ovest del territorio nel Comune di Montalcino, sul pendio della collina che degrada verso i fiumi Orcia e Ombrone. La superficie vitata è di 18 ettari di cui 16 coltivati a Sangiovese Grosso da cui si produce Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G. e Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C., 1,3 ettari sono coltivati a Trebbiano Malvasia e Vermentino e producono il bianco Settimia, 0,7 ettari sono impiantati a Moscadello e producono l'omonimo vino: il
