We are in Radda in Chianti, a pretty medieval village, enclosed by imposing walls. Located on a hillock between the Arbia and Pesa valleys, it has very ancient origins. Numerous Etruscan settlements have been found in the surrounding countryside, in fact many place names still bear the echo of such a distant origin. The winery is recent and owned by the Fronti family, whose origins are proudly peasant. The first harvest was born in 2009 with the first 3000 bottles of Chianti Classico, and what was considered a passion for a long time to come to fruition, which integrates and completes the family business. The commitment for the future is to grow, maintaining an attachment to traditions and our territory, trying to enhance as much as possible what nature offers us and the viticultural peculiarities of the high Chianti. We are certified organic since the 2016 harvest. We believe in respecting nature, the people who work in the vineyard and those who savor wine by the glass. The lands are not in a single body, but in separate plots and with distinct characteristics. What unites them is certainly the high altitude and predominantly rocky soils, with a prevalence of Galestro and Alberese, an excellent combination for the exaltation of Chianti Sangiovese. Freshness, elegance and minerality. From the 2012 harvest, the project for the separate vinification of Sangiovese was born according to the vine of origin, thus obtaining different wines based only on the characteristics of that specific vineyard, such as exposure, soil and altitude. We then tell our reality through the best Sangiovese harvested in the "Vigna Istine" (between Radda and Castellina), the one harvested in the "Vigna Casanova dell'Aia" (near Radda) and the one in the "Vigna Cavarchione" (in Vertine, Gaiole ).
