Centopassi

Centopassi is the winemaking soul of the Libera Terra cooperatives that cultivate land confiscated from the mafia in Sicily. The vineyards are distributed in the Corleonese Alto Belice, an area of ​​overwhelming beauty, particularly suited to high quality productions. Open, uncontaminated scenery, with limestone peaks that sprout on a plateau with a very high average altitude, make this corner of the Mediterranean the ideal place for optimal vine growth. The thermal excursions, the winds, the composition of the soil, the symbiosis achieved with the vines used lead to ideal conditions, far from many stereotypes related to Sicilian wine. Here elegance is the master, freshness is omnipresent, maximum drinkability of the wines is always ensured, also thanks to painstaking care of the vineyards and processes that always tend to emphasize the maximum expressiveness of the fruit. The wines offered tell the diversity of each vineyard, it is in fact a real range of Crus, ranging from a few hundred meters above sea level to almost a thousand of the beautiful vineyard of Portella della Ginestra. The entire production, as always for Libera Terra, is under organic farming.
