Le origine dell'azienda Kuenhof risalgono al XII se- colo: a quell’epoca il podere era proprieta` dei Vescovi di Bressanone, ma da circa 200 anni di proprieta` della famiglia Pliger. Siamo nella Valle Isarco nella provincia di Bressanone, esposti prevalente- mente a sud-est, costituiscono l’area vitivinicola piu` settentrionale d’Italia. Distribuiti a un’altezza compresa tra i 550 e i 700 metri. Kuenhof è un cru di meno di una superficie di 6 ettari. Terreni composti da sabbie argillose e rocce scistose, l’esposizione delle vigne a Sud-Est, il suo clima secco e ben aerato fanno di queste vigne l’habitat ideale per i quattro bianchi prodotti:
