Fontuccia - Passito "Nantropò" 2020 Ml. 375
Winery Fontuccia
Characteristic
Our passito Nantropo is born from the clusters of ansonica from Capel Rosso, flooded by the sun and squeezed between granite and sea. Extreme conditions that only "expert" vines of over 80 years can resist and give, albeit in small quantities, an exceptional wine, complex with its explosive aromas of exotic fruit and citrus but at the same time easy to love. Nantropo 2016 represented Italian wine excellence by triumphing with the "Great Gold Medal" in the category of sweet wines at the 2017 Mondial des Vins Extremes. The ground is loose granite, shallow. The very low yield, 500-700 grams per plant. Verndemmia takes place in the last week of August. The drying of the grapes in the sun, for a period ranging from 28 to 40 days depending on the seasonal trend. Manual destemming and spontaneous fermentation without temperature control, maceration for about 4 months, racking and clarification for subsequent decanting. .
